This looks like the most amazing sandwich that has ever been, or will ever be, invented. I wish I was eating this right now. Unfortunately, I’ll have to settle for peanut butter and nutella until I can go to the store.

Waiting for Forever
So, I wasn’t planning on even going on tumblr tonight. I have exams to study for and generally too much to do to even think about lounging around on my dashboard, much less creating an original post - I mean, that requires thinking out grammatically correct sentences and everything!
But then I watched a movie - Waiting for Forever.
This movie is beautiful. It was listed at a love story, which it definitely is, but it transcends that classification more than I could ever express. A lot of key elements really touched me - especially how the loss of parents was dealt with by each of the main characters. This movie brought me to tears - literally. (Background information: last time I cried at a work of fiction was over six years ago.)
I’m going to end this here, to prevent this from becoming a general fandom post gushing about various adorable and wonderful aspects of the movie. Instead, I’ll leave you with some advice: Take an hour and a half to watch this beautiful film and just think about what you get from it.

So now I’m watching Heroes.
And Christopher Eccleston’s character in the show is so much like the Doctor. I can’t get over it. Even with the scraggly beard and weird robe-coat-thingy he’s always wearing, it’s Nine! And I love it! I’ve been pretending he’s here on some sort of pre-Rose mission (which is why he’s so angry and gruffy). That can totally be the answer, right guys? Right?!?

Reading hurts.
That moment when you finish a book, look around, and realize that everyone is just carrying on with their lives as though you didn’t just experience emotional trauma at the hands of a paperback.

This is what happens to me… EVERY SINGLE TIME I read a really good book. After the Hunger Games trilogy, I felt a legitimate ache inside me due to all the pent up sadness, regret, and hurt in Katniss’ life. The final battle of Hogwarts was an intense experience of catharsis for me (especially Bellatrix’s death, that was really the most satisfying if we are all being honest here). I’ve read Howl’s Moving Castle so many times (at the time of this writing, the estimate is eleven) that merely thinking about it is enough to send me spinning of in a technicolor daydream about the land of Ingary. There are so many more - I’m quite the international travel if you count the places books have taken me over the years. The experience of reading is such intense escapism for me, but I really love it.
And not that any of you lovely people are going to argue with this perspective, but I’ve been dying to use one of my newly categorized reaction gifs, so:
On an slightly related note: Vashta nerada or no vashta nerada, if I were in the library from the Silence in the Library episode, I would never ever leave.

Epigenetics (by scishow)
Quite interesting, thinking about how your ancestors affect your DNA - and how you will affect your offspring. It really does make phenotype make a lot more sense in relation to genotype.

Good Start by *humon
I love this, despite its propensity to fill my eyes with tears.
